Mexican actress and vedette Lyn May, once called the “Goddess of Love,” has shared the painful story of a cosmetic procedure that went terribly wrong.
When she was young, Lyn said she was promised collagen injections to improve the shape of her cheekbones and jawline. Instead, she later discovered that she had been injected with cooking oil and baby oil.
At first, everything seemed fine. But months later, she began feeling itching and pain. Hard lumps eventually appeared under her skin and slowly changed the shape of her face.
Lyn underwent several surgeries to remove the oil, but doctors could never completely fix the damage.
The experience deeply affected her, and she has spoken about how devastated she felt at the time.
Decades later, some of the oil still remains.
