Some people come into our lives just long enough to teach us something.
Some arrive, leave a memory, and quietly disappear.
But then there are the rare ones who stay.
They stay beyond the first impression, beyond the beautiful conversations, beyond the easy days when everything feels effortless.
They stay long enough to know the parts of you that are not always easy to understand. Your silence. Your fears. Your changing seasons. Your imperfect days.
And somehow, after seeing more of who you truly are, they still choose to hold your hand.
There is something deeply beautiful about being able to look at someone after years of life, growth, mistakes, forgiveness and change, and still say:
“Nice to meet you.”
Because we never stop discovering each other.
And perhaps, years later:
“Nice to keep you.”
Because meeting someone may be chance, but continuing to choose one another is love.
Not every connection is meant to last.
So when you find someone who grows with you, respects your soul, protects the connection and continues choosing you through different versions of life…
Cherish them.
